360 Dance is stepping into a new direction! For over 30 years 360 Dance has helped keep the youth of Louisville in shape and healthy, but now we are also reaching out to the Women! Starting in Mid June we are offering classes to all the hard working women that need some "me" time! Are you constantly telling yourself you need to workout, but can't find the time? Do you want a little push to work off the extra inches you can't seem to loose? Well with our variety of workout classes, 360 Dance is ready to Help! Classes will be affordable and fun!

Certified Baptist East/Milestone Wellness Center's personal trainer Jen Graham will be instructing Fit mommies classes on Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:45-6:30, as well as 6:30-7:30. Jen works with mom's of all ages! Her focus is on nutritional accountability, core strengthening, group training, and weight loss !

Cardio hop will be offered on Tuesdays from 7:30-8:30 by Alison Kightlinger. Alison is a certifies Baptist East/ Milestone Wellness Center's personal trainer. Alison's cheer and dance background makes this fitness class full of pep!

Zumba is an energizing class based on latin dance with upbeat music! It's like having an exercise party on the dance floor! Zumba will be offered on Tuesdays from 5:45-6:45 pm and saturday from 10-11 am. Classes are $8 dollars and ask how to get a discounted rate with the zumba class punch card!

360 Dance’s Ellen Henry has just been awarded the performance opportunity of a lifetime!  Henry won a chance to be featured in the opening night of Cirque Dreams: Jungle Fantasy on March 3, 2009 at The Kentucky Center for the Arts.  360 Dance is so proud of Henry and can’t wait to watch her shine on stage!

360 Dance students recently participated in a Master Class taught by top choreographer Jason Parsons.   Parsons also came to 360 Dance to choreograph a routine for one of the competitive senior teams.  The Master Class was open to all students and allowed them the opportunity to see and learn new material from one of the nation’s leading choreographers. 

Parsons has worked with such notable companies as River North Dance Chicago, Mia Michaels RAW, Dinyos Dance Company (Japan), and Poz Dance Theatre (South Korea). Jason's industrial credits include working with Sony, BMW, DaeWoo, and General Motors.  Upon the conclusion of his weekend in Louisville, Parson selected three students at 360 Dance to participate in his annual workshop at the end of the year. 

Congratulations to Ellen Henry, Jaclyn Swigert and Sarah Dames for receiving such an outstanding honor!

Congratulations to our 360 Allstars who won not one, not two, but THREE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS! Our allstars competed against other teams from across the U.S. on Friday, February 1 in Orlando, Florida at the Milk House Arena at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex. The National Champion titles came from these three divisions...Youth Jazz, Youth Hip-Hop and Junior Jazz.

WI-FI has arrived at 360 Dance!  Hey dancers and parents...now you can enjoy your free time at 360 by taking advantage of our wireless internet service. Yes, it's available and it's FREE throughout our studio! As always, it's important for us to make sure that you enjoy your time at 360 and now you can do so by surfing the internet. Catch up on today's news! Perform research for that school project! Check e-mail so you don't have to when you get home! These are just a few of the reasons to take advantage of this new service. How do you use this new WI-FI service? It's so simple and easy!

• Bring your laptop to 360.
  Your laptop must have a wireless internet card!
• Fire up your laptop once in the studio.
  Your laptop should be able to receive the wireless signal in all lobby areas and in Room 360.
• You will be asked for a password.
  Go to the front desk or to the 360 info board to receive this password.
• Enter the password and you should be good to go!
• Enjoy the 360 WI-FI!

GO 360 and GO ASHLEY! Business First newspaper recently ran a story on 360 Dance and our very own, Ashley Williams Flaker, in their "Small Business Snapshot" section. The story was titled "All The Right Moves" and was printed in the Monday, January 23 issue. It's a great read that gives an inside look at 360 Dance including its history and growth. This article was great exposure for 360 and its dancers!
